yeah and who the hell would want that? no good stats at all. i found an icon that had an odd skin ive never seen before but because it was only a crappy n00b purple item i pitched it.

Well I was try'n to get you to see a point thru humor but it got lost somewhere.
I wasnt going to put "rarist skin eva" since thats controdictory.

Pie my hyphothisis is that the "golems" who drop an "earth staff" drop that skined version.

So if you kill alot of them in southern shiverpeaks no wonder you see them more often.

Just like how White Mantel in southern shiver peaks drop diff skinned horn bows...

The thing is that skin with nice mods is a hot item and will move quick. It looks better than say.......a raven staff. Or those ugly wood fire staves.

like pie said, this staff tends to be more common than the normal earth staff...

i've had this thing drop about 5 times in pre and more times than i can count in the desert.

It's not the commonality of the skin. It's the fact that it looks better than other skins. Players are vain. Most people would rather have this skin than the other one.
